What does your court or document task need?

Need documents served, a filing delivered or a court record retrieved? Tell us the court, jurisdiction, papers and instructions from your team or counsel. CBEOF can discuss coordination with qualified partners, subject to their coverage and acceptance.

We’ll explain available attempts, timing, completion records and separate court or access charges. Routine, rush and same-day options depend on coverage and cutoff; a first-attempt target does not promise successful service. Legal advice, strategy and representation stay with independent counsel.

Is this the service you need?

When this fits

  • You or counsel have final documents and instructions for a recipient or court task.
  • You need to discuss service attempts, filing, delivery or records retrieval in a named jurisdiction.

Other services that may help

Qualified partner coverage and the exact assignment require confirmation. Legal advice and representation remain with independent counsel.

What’s included.

Specify the assignment you need

Tell us whether you need process service, client-directed filing or document delivery, records retrieval, or help locating and serving a recipient.

Define the service instructions

For document service, identify the recipient, address, papers and jurisdiction, then agree on attempts and the completion record you need.

Confirm timing and attempt limits

Routine, rush, and same-day requests depend on coverage and cutoff. Confirm the first-attempt target without treating it as a promised service outcome.

Prepare the court-support documents

For court support, supply the case, court, documents, and written instructions. Filing acceptance and court action remain outside the coordinator’s control.

Link any necessary locate work

If the recipient first needs to be located, discuss the research alongside document service. The quote should identify each part and avoid duplicate charges.

What you’ll receive

  • The accepted written instructions and qualified partner scope.
  • The agreed attempt, filing, delivery or retrieval status.
  • Available completion documentation for the assigned work.
  • An exception record identifying any further client or counsel instruction needed.
  • A breakdown of approved partner, government, access and delivery charges.

How it works.

  1. Tell us the task and jurisdiction

Identify whether you need service, filing, delivery or retrieval, then share the jurisdiction, final documents and instructions.

  2. Check partner coverage and charges

Confirm qualified partner availability, timing, attempts, completion records and any separate court or access charges.

  3. Receive status and completion records

For an accepted assignment, receive the available attempt, delivery or retrieval record. Changes or unexpected issues return to your team for instructions.

Know what to expect.

We’ll confirm the work, the updates you’ll receive and who to contact along the way.

  • The final instructions, jurisdiction, recipient or record, and partner availability arrangement.
  • The accepted timing and attempt scope, approved costs and expected completion document.
  • Who receives exception updates and who can authorize changes or additional work.

What helps us help you.

  • The court, case reference, jurisdiction and client or counsel directing the work.
  • The recipient and known address, or the exact document or record requested.
  • Final papers and written instructions for the specific administrative assignment.
  • Timing needs, address or record count, and the completion document your team expects.

What shapes your quote.

  • Assignment type and jurisdiction.
  • Recipients, addresses, attempts, or document count.
  • Routine, rush, or requested same-day handling.
  • Court, certification, access, travel, and delivery charges.

Tell us what you need help with. We’ll explain which records are needed and how to provide them. Personal reports, ID images and account files can wait until then.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about this service?

A few details to help you decide.

Ask another question
Does CBEOF provide legal representation?

No legal representation is offered through this service. Work is coordinated from the client’s or counsel’s instructions; legal strategy and advice remain with independent counsel.

Can service be guaranteed by a deadline?

No. Timing options can define an accepted first-attempt target, subject to coverage and cutoff. Successful service depends on the assignment and circumstances.

Are court fees included?

Only if expressly included in the quote. Filing, certified-copy, access, and other government or delivery charges should be identified separately before approval.

Can you find a recipient and arrange service?

Ask for a defined locate-and-serve scope. Research and service are linked components, each with its own limits, and neither outcome should be assumed before acceptance.

What if the instructions or documents need changing?

Send the change to the assigned contact before further work. Additional addresses, new papers, or revised deadlines may change the scope and should be approved rather than silently added.
