Senior Living & Residential Care

Screen staff and drivers, and review unpaid care, housing or service accounts with the responsible party identified.

Useful checks for the team around your residents.

Residential care brings together care, maintenance, administration and transportation roles. The facility type and each position's responsibilities help define employee checks and any separate screening instructions.

Account follow-up starts with the agreement, the type of charge and the person or business responsible for payment. Housing, care and contracted-service balances should be clear before outreach is agreed.

Frequently asked questions

Questions before we talk?

Answers to help you move forward with confidence.

Ask another question
Can CBEOF determine who owes a resident’s balance?

The requesting organization must provide the agreement and records supporting responsibility for the account. CBEOF can review the proposed service scope, but this page does not determine legal liability for relatives, representatives or other parties.

Are screening requirements identical across senior living facilities?

Do not assume they are. Identify the facility type, job duties and specific instructions your organization follows. Those details help distinguish requested background checks from a separate regulated screening pathway.

Can maintenance and transportation staff be included?

Yes. Describe the responsibilities of each position. Employment, identity, record and driving checks can be selected for the relevant roles rather than limiting the conversation to care staff.

Let’s talk

Which role or account needs attention?

Tell us the facility setting, staff responsibility or account issue. We’ll discuss the service options; resident records are not needed to start.
