Child Care & Camps

Screen year-round and seasonal staff, review driving roles and discuss documented enrollment or program balances.

Camp staff prepare an outdoor crafts table under a canopy.

Plan checks around the people in your program.

Seasonal counselors, year-round employees and transport staff can need different reviews. The organization type, age group served, role and written instructions establish the screening request.

CBEOF also discusses eligible enrollment or program balances. Explain the agreed dates, cancellations, payments and adjustments so the remaining account can be reviewed before follow-up is considered.

Frequently asked questions

Questions before we talk?

Answers to help you move forward with confidence.

Ask another question
Can a camp simply order the same checks as a child care center?

The organization should first identify its own program type, staff roles and applicable written instructions. A general screening package should not be assumed to satisfy every organization’s fingerprint or qualification pathway.

Can we prepare before seasonal hiring is finished?

Yes. Start by defining the roles, anticipated volume and requested checks. Individual requests can be scoped once the required information and process are confirmed; no turnaround is promised before that review.

What should a past-due camp account show?

Include the enrollment agreement, booked dates, cancellation or adjustment records, amounts paid and relevant communications. Those records help explain the remaining balance and any dispute before outreach is considered.
